The lovely ladies from This Is Knit have been in touch with me to offer my readers and followers a 15% discount, using the code BLOGGER, for the upcoming series of workshops with Kate O’ Sullivan from A Playful Day – a lifestyle blog and podcast about making, creativity and process. As well as her own successful blog and podcast, Kate works professionally with brands and publishers writing copy and articles, creating beautiful photography and content and delivering workshops.
Kate will be running three 2 hour workshops in This Is Knit on Saturday 13th and Sunday May 14th, kicking off at 2.30pm on Saturday with Discover Your Writing Style. It is particularly useful for bloggers, business owners and anyone wishing to write professionally for a living. You will be encouraged to develop your writing style to suit your audience. There will be opportunities to practice your skills, ask questions and think about writing with passion and purpose to best communicate your ideas.
On Sunday 14th May, Telling Your Story Online kicks off at 10am and takes place in Eden Bar and Grill. It is designed to give you practical tools and ideas for using your website, newsletters and social media platforms to grow your online presence and in turn your business.
At 12.30pm, the focus moves to Visual Story Telling, which includes a Photowalk around the beautiful Powerscourt Townhouse and its surroundings, seeking inspiration and creating opportunities to try what you’ve learned. This workshop will focus on smartphone photography and will cover some basic photography tips, making the most of your smart phone and pointers for editing and sharing images.
You can attend all 3 workshops or just 1, it’s up to you. They are priced individually from €45-€65 full price. If you use the code BLOGGER at the checkout you will receive a 15% discount. Links for each of the workshops are included below.
